MONTRÉAL, Dec. 17, 2025 /CNW/ - Loto-Québec posts results that meet its expectations after two quarters. Sound management, combined with a clear commitment from all sectors, enabled Loto-Québec to maintain very good results and continue playing an important part in Québec's economic and social development. Teams work relentlessly to enhance entertainment options, both online and land-based, while upholding the highest responsible commercialization standards.
Loto-Québec has crowned 70 millionaires since the fiscal year began. The total awarded to lottery winners during this period nears $973M.
QUOTES FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO
"I'm proud of our performance, which was delivered in a complex economic context and maintains an upward trend. We succeeded through our ongoing commitment to sound management and our teams' excellent work. We're well-positioned to meet our annual net income target. Building on these positive results and driven by our initiatives underway, we head into the second half of the year with confidence and determination," says Jean-François Bergeron.
"While the land-based casino industry is experiencing reduced momentum, our casinos and gaming halls are progressing, both online and on-site. This shows that our varied entertainment options appeal to our customers."
"Thanks to the many prizes awarded, lottery games generate spin-offs that benefit all of Québec. In fact, the summer quarter saw a small Basse-Côte-Nord community experience a truly unforgettable moment: a group of 14 residents won the $50M Lotto Max jackpot. It was a spectacular win that spread joy across the town of Bonne-Espérance."
"A year after we launched the Wise Play Program, we continue to make clear our commitment to responsible commercialization. We reached out to sports betting fans directly to remind everyone that chance plays a pivotal role--even in sports--and relaunched an ad campaign for the general public."
