WINNIPEG, June 12, 2013 /CNW/ - With retirement savings increasingly top of mind for many Canadians, the need for convenient access to clear, concise information is more important than ever. In response, Great-West Life has redesigned the public-facing sign-in pages on GRS Access, the company's secure, transactional website, to enhance the online experience for all users.
"We've learned that while many plan members are interested in their retirement, some may become overwhelmed by the decisions they need to make, which can lead to procrastination and inaction," says Jeff Aarssen, Vice-President of Group Retirement Services Sales & Marketing for Great-West Life. "We've implemented new public features as part of our ongoing commitment to help simplify the retirement planning process for members. Our goal is to elevate the online experience so members will be more encouraged to use the wealth of online tools and resources available to help them plan and achieve retirement savings success."
Updates to public-facing GRS Access sign-in pages include:
- A fresh look with improved navigation and sign-in function from every page, making it more intuitive for plan sponsors, members, advisors, brokers and consultants to find the information they need.
- Responsive design makes the pages accessible from desktops, tablets and mobile devices.
- New multimedia resources include videos, interactive maps and more, to serve different learning styles, with added features to facilitate social sharing via email, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Google+.
- A new video highlights the tools and resources members can access once they have signed in.
Registered users can still sign in with the same Access ID and password, and as always, can personalize the home page to display the information most important to them. This feature helps to increase member engagement, which in turn can help encourage members to set, monitor and achieve their retirement and savings goals.
