OTTAWA, Feb. 5, 2014 /CNW/ - The Conference Board of Canada has been awarded the prestigious recognition as one of the National Capital Region's Top Employers for 2014 - its fifth time in seven years.
"We are delighted to receive this honour once again, which strengthens our reputation as an employer of choice. We are proud to offer our employees an organizational environment that reflects the best practices that we research and share. As the Conference Board celebrates its 60th anniversary in Canada, there is a strong sense of purpose that accompanies the work we do and the dedication our employees have to building a better future for Canadians," said Barb Hogberg, Vice President, Human Resources and Facilities.
The Conference Board of Canada is the foremost independent, not-for-profit applied research organization in Canada. We are dedicated to building a better future for Canadians by making our economy and society more dynamic and competitive.
The National Capital Region's Top Employers is an annual competition organized by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers. A feature of the Canada's Top 100 Employers project is that its editors publish, on job site www.eluta.ca, reasons why each winner is selected, providing transparency and guidance for both job-seekers and employers.
The winners are profiled in a special Ottawa Citizen supplement, released today.
