Concordia University to present Honorary Degrees to Seven Distinguished

MONTREAL, April 16 /CNW Telbec/ - Concordia University will bestow seven honorary doctorates during spring convocation ceremonies to be held June 21-23 in Salle Wilfrid Pelletier at Place des Arts (175 Ste. Catherine Street West). The distinguished recipients will join more than 4,800 students from across Concordia's four Faculties and the School of Graduate Studies who are eligible to graduate this spring.

Charlebois is being recognized for his innovative contributions to the
arts and culture in Quebec and abroad

Eleanor Wachtel, CBC radio broadcaster, who has fostered a deep
appreciation for literature and the arts through her broadcasts and books

Richard Pound (S BA'63), for his significant achievements in education,
law, and letters, and his impact within the Olympic movement on the
ethics and integrity of amateur sports
