"Seniors Financial Coffee Clubs" will bring small groups of Seniors together to help them achieve both financial literacy and social goals
TORONTO, March 16, 2026 /CNW/ - The Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE) will officially launch the Seniors Financial Coffee Clubs, a program supported by RBC Foundation to help build friendships and financial empowerment among Seniors at no cost.
The announcement will be made on Tuesday, March 17 at 12:00 p.m. EST in the Loblaws Community Room located at 2877 Bayview Ave. In North York.
The new program is designed to help seniors address the financial challenges, decisions, and opportunities they encounter in their lives. It's based on and adapted from CFEE's lengthy experience in providing financial workshops and webinars for seniors and content from CFEE's popular "Let's Talk Money: Seniors Edition" - https://www.letstalkmoneyseniors.com. A team of seniors has worked to guide the content of the program to align with the interests, needs, images, and factors relevant to seniors. The program will bring together small groups of seniors (e.g. 15) in a comfortable local facility for 1 hour a week for 5 weeks to participate in a financial literacy program delivered by an experienced financial professional.
