CALGARY, July 5, 2013 /CNW/ - Bow Valley College President and CEO, Sharon Carry, today announced that classes will resume on Monday, July 8, 2013 in downtown Calgary, representing a significant step toward returning to regular operations.
The College will now commence a multistage plan to reinstate our programs and services for our learners.
"This has been an unprecedented time for the College and our great City," said Sharon Carry, President and CEO. "The floods have certainly tested our limits, but have also revealed a resourcefulness, humanity, and commitment to service that really exemplify Bow Valley College. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to our learners, faculty, and staff who have been incredibly supportive and patient while we have worked to get the College back on track."
ALL classes will resume on Monday, July 8, starting at 8 a.m., at North Campus including services from the Office of the Registrar and Learner Success Service.
Learners should be prepared for class locations and times to be changed and will have limited access to their lockers depending on which campus they are located. Further information on these changes will be available on Friday, July 5, on www.bowvalleycollege.ca/floodupdate
Campus status update:
- North Campus is OPEN
- Rocky Mountain Plaza is OPEN
- South Campus is CLOSED (Classes scheduled for South Campus will be moved to alternate locations)
- West Campus is CLOSED
- High River Campus is CLOSED
