TORONTO, Feb. 26, 2014 /CNW/ - The Canadian International AutoShow finished its 10 day run on Sunday, February 23rd with a respectable attendance of 299,527 placing it well within the top ten performances in the show's 41 year history.
Asked for comment, the show's General Manager Tom Tonks noted, "The 2% reduction from the 2013 event is well within normal attendance fluctuations and all the more remarkable when one considers the impact of the Winter Olympics and regional weather issues experienced by the show this year."
Attendance figures for each of the public days are attached.
The CIAS is Canada's largest consumer show in both attendance and size and influences over 80,000 vehicle sales annually.
