SEPT-ÎLES, QC, Sept. 5, 2025 /CNW/ - Maïté Blanchette Vézina, Minister of Natural Resources and Forests and Minister responsible for the Société du Plan Nord, is proud to announce the launch of the Enveloppe nordique d'infrastructures en appui au secteur minier (ENIAM). The Government of Quebec, through the Société du Plan Nord, is investing $20.75 million to support strategic infrastructure projects that will benefit both the mining sector and communities in the northern territory.
Minister Blanchette Vézina made the announcement today at the Société ferroviaire et portuaire de Pointe-Noire, alongside Kateri Champagne Jourdain, Minister of Employment, Minister responsible for the Côte-Nord, and MNA for Duplessis, as well as Yves Montigny, MNA for René-Lévesque.
Who can apply?
If you have a project aimed at the improvement or construction of strategic land transport or renewable energy infrastructure, you may be eligible to submit a funding application.
Additionally, to qualify for support from ENIAM, an infrastructure project must:
- have a multi-user perspective;
- support the mining sector;
- benefit communities in the northern territory.
Projects can be submitted on an ongoing basis to the Société du Plan Nord. Full details on how to apply are available on the Financial Support for Infrastructure Projects in Support of the Mining Sector page of Québec.ca.
