RICHMOND HILL, ON, Oct. 25, 2016 /CNW/ - During SEIU Healthcare's 2016 Nursing Convention (October 24 - October 26, Scarborough, ON), a moment of silence was held in light of the tragic loss of eight elder patients in South West Ontario.
As investigations continue, "SEIU Healthcare encourages all the parties involved to fully cooperate with the investigation. Nothing is more important than the safety of all people in Ontario's Nursing Homes," stated Sharleen Stewart, President of SEIU Healthcare.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims' families and we offer our deepest condolences.
