RCMP National Memorial Service honours fallen members

REGINA, SK, Sept. 13, 2026 /CNW/ -- RCMP officers dedicate their lives to serving Canadians. Every year, on the second Sunday of September, the RCMP gathers to honour those who lost their lives in the line of duty during the RCMP National Memorial Service.

Sunday morning's Memorial Parade brought hundreds together at the historic Sleigh Square at the RCMP Academy, Depot Division. Participating in the parade were cadets, RCMP officers from across the country, veterans, the RCMP Pipes and Drums, and the Cadet Band. Dignitaries, government officials, partner agencies, families, friends, and community members gathered to pay their respects and honour the fallen.

This year, no new names were added to the Honour Roll. The RCMP remains deeply grateful to the officers whose courage, service, and sacrifice continue to inspire. Their commitment to protecting Canadians will always be remembered.
