Both YAWORSKI and MARENTIC appeared in Toronto Old City Hall Courthouse on Dec 11, 2013.

"The illicit drug trade and associated criminality that surrounds it harms individuals and makes our communities less safe," stated Inspector Andy White (RCMP GTA Serious and Organized Crime Team). "These arrests and seizures demonstrate our commitment to find those involved in the criminal underworld and bring them before justice."

"This is yet another example of the close working relationship between the CBSA and the RCMP," said Goran Vragovic, Regional Director General, Greater Toronto Area Region of the CBSA. "The CBSA will continue to work alongside its enforcement partners to ensure that organized criminal activities, like these, are stopped in their tracks."

RCMP and CBSA would like to thank York Regional Police for their assistance in this investigation.

Investigators from the RCMP's GTA Financial Crime Team (Proceeds of Crime) are also involved in this investigation.
