Yahoo! Canada Announces Winners of First Annual Awards
Canadians have spoken, voting for Justin Trudeau as the winner of The Next Prime Minster category in the First Annual Yahoo! Canada Awards
TORONTO, Nov. 14, 2012 /CNW/ - What was the year's biggest scandal? Who is Canada's real social media superstar? Who's comeback got the biggest buzz? Today, Yahoo! Canada answers all those questions and more, as the winners of the first annual Yahoo! Canada Awards are revealed.
The awards encouraged Canadians to share their opinions about this year's hottest topics and news stories via online voting during the month of October.

The awards are based on four major categories, with a number of sub categories in each. Users were asked to cast a vote for their favourite in each category, and the tallied votes resulted in the following winners:
