Event FREE and open for all to attend at Toronto's Nathan Phillips Square
TORONTO, Aug. 14, 2015 /CNW/ - Live Nation, the Official Live Music Partner of the TORONTO 2015 Pan Am/Parapan Am Games and the world's leading live entertainment company, will help Toronto bid a final farewell to the TORONTO 2015 Games tomorrow, Saturday, August 15.
The Closing Ceremony of the Parapan Am Games — the largest Parapan Am Games ever held — will showcase the talents of Grammy award-winner Wyclef Jean and country music singer-songwriter Meghan Patrick, who hails from Bowmanville, ON.
The ceremony, which is a free event starting at 8 p.m. at Nathan Phillips Square, will also feature the Parade of Nations, the official handover of the Americas Paralympic Committee (APC) flag to the next Host City — Lima — and the extinguishing of the Parapan Am flame. The ceremony will end with a dramatic fireworks display over the square.

The TORONTO 2015 Parapan Am Games Closing Ceremony will be broadcast live in English on City TV on August 15 starting at 8 p.m. The broadcast will be replayed in English and French on CBC/Radio-Canada at 10 p.m.
Please note: To support spectators coming down to Nathan Phillips Square to enjoy this free event, the City of Toronto has organized select road closures on August 14 and 15.
