Humanitarian agency named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for sixth consecutive year
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Nov. 9, 2015 /CNW/ - World Vision, Canada's largest child-focused international development agency, is pleased to announce that it has been named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers for 2016. The award, which is sponsored by Mediacorp Canada and is now in its 16th year, is designed to recognize the nation's best places to work by highlighting the companies and organizations that lead their industries in attracting and retaining employees.
The 2016 award marks the sixth consecutive year that World Vision has been named as one of the Top 100 Employers in the country. The agency was recognized for its commitment to maintaining a work and life balance for employees through flexible hours, telecommuting and alternative work arrangements. As well, the judges also noted World Vision's support services for maternal and paternal leave and its commitment to ongoing employee education.
