TORONTO, Nov. 13, 2013 /CNW/ - Canadian chefs will learn to make food fit for royalty from Chef Graham Tinsley at the CRFA Show -- an annual event for the hospitality industry -- presented by the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association. Chef Tinsley will be on hand for the entire show, March 2-4, 2014 at the Direct Energy Centre in Toronto.
Tinsley created one of the official cakes for the royal wedding of William and Catherine, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. He will be at the show to share his secrets and expertise in cuisine from his native Wales. It is his first-ever appearance in Canada.
Tinsley has had the honour of cooking for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh numerous times. HRH Prince Charles has asked Tinsley to cook at each of his formal occasions in Wales, including the Prince's 50th birthday celebration. Tinsley has also fed many European Heads of State as well as the Emperor of Japan.
Tinsley has earned several chef of the year titles, is a Member of the Order of the British Empire, and has led the Welsh national culinary team to the most medals of any Welsh team at the World Culinary Olympics and World Cups.
At the CRFA Show, he will perform cooking demonstrations and interact with guests through seminars and meet and greet events.
