Westminster Closes Unit Private Placement

VANCOUVER, June 29 /CNW/ - Westminster Resources Ltd. (the "Company") (TSX-V: WMR), has closed a non-brokered private placement in the amount of $2,053,400 which is an increase of $553,400 over the amount of $1,500,000 announced on May 31, 2010. The Company will issue 10,267,000 units with each unit to be comprised of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each common share purchase warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional common share at $0.35 per share until June 29, 2012. The common shares issued pursuant to the private placement as well as the common shares issued pursuant to the exercise of the share purchase warrants will be legended with a hold period to expire October 30, 2010. Finders' fees totaling $148,832 will be paid from the Company's working capital commensurate with TSX.V policies.

The funds raised will be used to conduct exploration on the Company's Projects in Sonora, Mexico and for general working capital.
