("Wesdome" or the "Company") (TSX: WDO) announces that JP Chauvin has been appointed as Executive Chairman of the board of directors of the Company (the "Board") following the resignation of Brian Northgrave. The Company expresses its thanks to Mr. Northgrave for his contributions as the Chairman of the Board and as a director of Wesdome and wishes him all the best with his future endeavors.
Wesdome is in its 26th year of continuous mining operations in Canada. It currently has two producing gold mines in Wawa, Ontario and owns the Kiena Complex in Val d'Or, Québec.
