Waterstone Human Capital Announces Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate
Cultures Hall of Fame

TORONTO , Nov. 25 /CNW/ - Waterstone Human Capital today announces the inaugural inductees to Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Hall of Fame.

In order to qualify for the hall of fame, organizations must have been named to the Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures program four times. The inductees on the inaugural list were honoured in 2005 - 2008, inclusive.

Says Parker: "Our hall of fame inductees have been repeatedly recognized by the Canadian leadership community for having phenomenal corporate cultures. We felt it was time to initiate a hall of fame to formally recognize these world-class organizations and their great accomplishments."

Waterstone Human Capital, a leading executive search and human capital consulting firm, has been running the Canada's 10 program since 2005.

The program begins annually in the spring with Waterstone's Canadian Corporate Culture Study, a survey of 500 senior Canadian executives. As part of the survey, respondents are asked to nominate Canadian organizations they most admire in terms of having a corporate culture that impacts performance.

Nominated organizations are then asked to complete a formal submission, which is then evaluated and voted on by the Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Board of Governors.

The program's findings have demonstrated, on an annual basis, how the winning organizations are outperforming their peers. For example, the performance of Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2009, in terms of three-year compounded annual revenue growth, significantly outpaced the S&P/TSX by an average of over 300 per cent - or, three times.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, RBC, Tim Hortons, WestJet and Yellow Pages Group will be inducted into the hall of fame at the Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures Awards Gala on February 1st, 2010 , at Four Seasons Hotel Toronto . Canada's 10 Most Admired Corporate Cultures of 2009, which were announced on November 12th , will also receive their awards that night.
