Walmart Canada names TransX Carrier of the Year
MISSISSAUGA, ON, March 3 /CNW/ - At the Gala Walmart Carrier Awards Dinner held on February 19, 2010 Andy Ellis, Senior Vice President Supply Chain & Logistics for Walmart Canada presented the Carrier of the Year award to Louie Tolaini, President of the TransX Group of Companies. Mr Ellis recognized TransX for being an outstanding partner, delivering in excess of 89,000 shipments with a 99.6% on-time record. In addition to being a true partner, TransX was recognized for leading by example through collaborative efforts attributed to helping train other Walmart carriers with the forthcoming LCV (Long Combination Vehicle) program in Ontario and Quebec.
