WADL TV Detroit Launches The Titan Sports Classic Network Featuring Great Sports Moments In University Of Detroit Mercy Athletic History
SNEAK PREVIEW ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 25TH AT 8PM ON WADL TV
DETROIT, June 24, 2014 /CNW/ - WADL TV Detroit, an 11th metered market television station, will be airing a sneak preview on Wednesday June 25th at 8pm of the programming viewers will be able to see on the new Titan Sports Classic Network beginning this Fall on its dot three Channel. The sneak preview will feature the 1978 NCAA Basketball Tournament Game, which pitted University Of Detroit Titans vs. the Michigan Wolverines. The Titans, who were ranked #16 at the time, squared off against the #1 in the land, Wolverines. The network will feature Classic Sports Moments in University Of Detroit Mercy History including basketball, football and other sports.
Kevin Adell, CEO and founder of both The Word Network and WADL Detroit, has been converting all of the formats of recorded games over the last 50 years to a digital format, which will make up the programming set to air on the Titan Sports Classic Network, starting this Fall.
Former Titans Basketball Coach and legendary basketball announcer, Dick Vitale shared, "The Titan Classic Sports Network is awesome for the Titans Athletic Department as well as the rest of the University. It will provide tremendous exposure, visibility and help to build the brand."
Adell added, "I can build any college or professional sports franchise their own sports network where the value stays with them and not some third party broadcast entity."
