Victoria Bug Zoo SOLD!

VICTORIA, BC, May 1, 2014 /CNW/ - One of Canada's most iconic attractions has been sold. Carol Maier (Guelph B.Sc.'90), founder of International Bug Zoos Inc. has sold the "Victoria Bug Zoo" entity, effective May 1/14. This popular and unique facility was opened in 1997. Its mission is to provide fun and educational tours, and showcase LIVE giant tropical insects and arachnids from around the world. The new owners will follow in the footsteps of the original owner. Carol intends to pursue other opportunities.
