VANCOUVER, Nov. 4 /CNW/ - The Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) will announce the celebration communities that make up the route for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay, as well as three new presenting partners for the relay, at an event on Thursday, November 5.
The announcement will take place following a special Olympic and Paralympic gathering entitled "Athletes of the Future," organized by students at Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver, BC.
The Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Torch Relay starts on March 3, 2010 at the Parliament Buildings in Ottawa, ON, and ends in downtown Vancouver with the lighting of the Paralympic Cauldron at BC Place to officially start the Games on March 12, 2010.

12:30 pm (Pacific Time)
The Paralympic Torch Relay announcement will start at 12:30 pm in the
school atrium. The event will wrap at approximately 1:00 pm with
media availability with VANOC and partner representatives. Media
covering the announcement are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes
The opening ceremony for the "Athletes of the Future" event starts at
11:00 am. The school is allowing media access to the event between
11:15 am and 12:15 pm in the school auditorium.
