Over the last few years Chrysalix has helped to raise more than U.S. $250 million for early-stage Canadian clean energy technology companies - five of them in Metro Vancouver.
In North America, Chrysalix has invested in 24 startup companies, leading over 70% of these investments. In addition, Chrysalix has invested in another five startup companies in Europe through its affiliated fund Sustainable Energy Technology Ventures in Amsterdam. Investors in Chrysalix include blue chip industry leaders Total Energy, Kuwaiti Petroleum, Delta Lloyd, Fortum, Essent, Robeco, Sitra, FondAction, BASF, Mitsubishi, Shell and others.

Today's reception, hosted by Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson, was held to recognize the importance of attracting foreign clean technology investment to Vancouver and to celebrate the contributions of Vancouver-based companies that have successfully attracted foreign clean technology investment to the city.
