UrtheCast And International Space Station Operations Continue Without Pause
VANCOUVER, April 3, 2014 /CNW/ - UrtheCast Corp. (TSX:UR) ("UrtheCast" or "the Company") has been advised that the International Space Station (ISS) program activities have been exempted from the recent decision by the U.S. government to suspend contact with Russian government representatives.
"It is business as usual for the Company, as we continue the commissioning of our cameras on the International Space Station," advised Wade Larson, UrtheCast President and COO. "The ISS has long enjoyed a privileged position in international diplomacy and has survived unscathed during multiple international crises in recent years. In fact, we understand that the ISS has been nominated for this year's Nobel Peace Prize. I think that says a lot."
In preparation for the unveiling of its full color, Ultra HD Earth video from space, UrtheCast remains focused on the commissioning and calibration of its cameras, in addition to ground system testing and the continuation of its business plan.
