List Names Restaurants in 19 Metros Where Grabbing a Bite Won't Break the Bank

The city of Vancouver topped the list with 26 restaurants appearing in the Top 100; Calgary boasted 17, and 13 cheap eateries in Toronto earned nods.

Popping up on the list are a plethora of delis and cafés with mouth-watering offerings, with highlights including the Fat Boy in Winnipeg, Montreal's smoked meat, and Vancouver's famous Izakayas, all sure to inspire both local pride and hunger pangs.

Restaurants on the Urbanspoon's 2012 Canada's Most Popular Cheap Eats list were selected based on a rating algorithm that includes blog posts on Urbanspoon, diner voting behavior, consumer reviews, critic reviews, and page views.
