Update from Kwikwetlem First Nation on Chief Ron Giesbrecht

KWIKWETLEM FIRST NATION, VANCOUVER, BC, Aug. 1, 2014 /CNW/ - There has been much interest in our community and in Chief Ron Giesbrecht in recent days.

Our Chief is accountable to members of the Kwikwetlem First Nation, and is taking time to talk to them now and over the coming days. He is also undergoing unavoidable medical treatment early next week.

Further statements will be made available on Thursday August 7. In the meantime we ask that we are given the time, space and respect to go through this process and interim updates will be provided if possible.
