Upcoming Merger of Aston Hill Strategic Yield II Fund

TORONTO, Sept. 24, 2014 /CNW/ - Aston Hill Asset Management Inc. (the "Manager"), the manager of Aston Hill Strategic Yield II Fund (the "Terminating Fund"), announced that the Terminating Fund will merge into Aston Hill Strategic Yield Fund (the "Continuing Fund") on or about December 11, 2014.  The merger satisfies the conditions in applicable securities legislation to proceed without further approval from either unitholders of the Terminating Fund or from the Canadian securities regulators.
