Twin Butte Energy confirms September dividend payment

CALGARY, Sept. 17, 2012 /CNW/ - Twin Butte Energy Ltd. (TSX:TBE) ("Twin Butte" or the "Company") confirms that its cash dividend in respect of September 2012 production will be $0.015 per share. The eligible dividend will be paid on October 15, 2012 to shareholders of record on September 28, 2012. The ex-dividend date is September 26, 2012. These dividends are designated as "eligible dividends" for Canadian income tax purposes.

In accordance with the company's Dividend Reinvestment Plan (The "Plan"), the dividend is eligible to be reinvested by the shareholder at a 5% discount per common share of Twin Butte.

Registered shareholders of Twin Butte may enroll in the plan by completing the authorization form and returning it to Valiant Trust Company, the Plan Agent. An authorization form must be received by the Plan Agent no later than 3:00 p.m. Calgary time on the business day prior to a Dividend Record Date in order for it to be in effect for the next Dividend Payment.

An authorization form may be obtained by calling Valiant Trust Company at 1-866-313-1872 or from the Corporation's website at www.twinbutteenergy.com.

Non-registered shareholders, who hold their shares with a broker or financial institution and wish to enroll in the plan, will need to contact them directly in order to provide appropriate enrollment instructions.
