TORONTO, April 19 /CNW/ - TVOKids is calling on all grade school students across Ontario to nominate their favourite teacher in its fourth annual Best Teacher Ever Contest in Partnership with City Parent, a perfect way to end the school year on a high note for both teachers and students.

From May 3 until June 16, the Best Teacher Ever Contest in Partnership with City Parent gives grade-school kids an opportunity to recognize their teachers for the valuable work that they do. The Best Teacher Ever Contest in Partnership with City Parent is a popular feature on Last year's contest received over 16,000 entries. Throughout the contest a "Teacher of the Day" will be featured on

To enter, kids must write to TVOKids describing, in as few or as many words as they wish, what makes their teacher so special. Is it because they make every kid feel welcome and at home in the classroom? Do they go out of their way to give extra help after class? Or do they just make learning fun? Entries should also include their teacher's name and school and can be mailed to:
