TORONTO, March 18, 2013 /CNW/ - TVO is pleased to announce that TD Bank Group is the 2013 recipient of the inaugural TVO Caring Corporate Partner Award, recognizing TD's outstanding and continued support of TVO's early literacy initiatives.
The TVO Caring Corporate Partner Award acknowledges the generous support it receives from private sector partners and the role they play in helping TVO deliver on its mission to make Ontarians smarter, more aware and more informed.

With continued financial support since 1999, TD has been a valued partner to TVO and is the presenting sponsor of TVOKids' early learning block, Gisele's Big Backyard, and of the TVOKids Book Club. TD is also title sponsor of TVOKids' early literacy programs TD Tumbletown Reads and TD Reading Rangers, and has supported TVO at literacy outreach events such as the annual Read with Gisèle Tour and TVO's participation at The Word On The Street.
