TUNCAD Presents Strengthening the Canadian-Tunisian partnership Business Networking Event
TORONTO, April 22, 2015 /CNW/ - TUNCAD in partnership with the Canadian Embassy in Tunisia and the Tunisian Embassy in Canada presents Strengthening the Canadian-Tunisian partnership Business Networking Event taking place at the Living Art Center, Mississauga on Monday 27th of April 2015, 6 to 9 Pm.
TUNCAD is honored to announce that his Excellency the Canadian ambassador in Tunisia, Mr. Sebastien Beaulieu and his Excellency the Tunisian ambassador in Canada, Mr. Riadh Essid will be attending as special guests at the event. The event will also be attended by dignitaries, Canadian political leaders and business owners.
Canada, for many years, has been focused on strengthening commercial ties between the two countries by increasing investments in Tunisia and leveraging opportunities that Tunisia offers Canada.
The event will host the Tunisian delegation attending Canada's largest food exhibition (SIAL Toronto). This delegation is composed of many Tunisian companies from different industries hoping to introduce Tunisian investment into the Canadian market.
Tunisia was named by the Economist Magazine as the 2014 country of the year. In 2014 Tunisia adopted a new, enlightened constitution and held both parliamentary and presidential polls.
Since the inception of the Jasmine Revolution of January 2011 and Tunisia's progress to democratic reform, Canada has been a strategic and reliable partner to Tunisia's start-up democracy. Tunisia is one of Canada's priority countries identified in Canada's Global Markets Action Plan as well as in the Canadian strategy regarding international education.
