TTG Canada Appoints New Director at TORQUE Strategies
Former WME | IMG, TO2015 and Canadian Tire Brand Exec, Aubrey Lovery, Joins the Agency
VANCOUVER, May 1, 2017 /CNW/ - TTG Canada and its subsidiary TORQUE Strategies announced today the appointment of veteran brand and marketing executive, Aubrey Lovery, as Director of Growth and Strategy, adding to a year of exceptional growth.
In his new role, Lovery will be focused on delivering client promises and driving new business initiatives. With over 15 years of experience in the industry behind him, the Toronto native brings a wealth of thought leadership and a diverse set of skills to the firm's operations nationally.

Lovery joins the TORQUE team from Canadian Tire, where he led award-winning integrated marketing programs, leveraging an extensive portfolio of sport partnerships including but not limited to Canadian Olympic and Paralympic Committees, NHL, and Hockey Canada. During his time there, Aubrey managed campaigns that propelled Canadian Tire Jumpstart Charities to the highest levels of awareness in its history. Aubrey also managed Canadian Tire's Rio Olympic Games campaign, which was rated "#1 most enjoyed" among all Canadian advertisers in a national third party survey.

Before working with Canadian Tire, Aubrey was the Director of Partnership Services for the 2015 Pan American Games (TO2015), managing all partner relations and sponsor program activation planning, as well as assisting in contract negotiation. Previous to TO2015, he spent over five years with WME | IMG (IMG) Sports and Entertainment in New York and London, England. At IMG, Aubrey managed brand strategy for numerous clients including Rolex and HSBC, as well as athletes Maria Sharapova and Eli Manning, and properties Wimbledon and Wembley Stadium.
