TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing documentation pursuant to the
Purchase and Sale Agreement (the "Agreement") between Western Plains Petroleum
Ltd. (the "Company") and a non-arm's length party dated February 16, 2010
wherein the Company will acquire a 100% interest in the petroleum and natural
gas rights on property located in the Maidstone area of western Saskatchewan.
In consideration, the Company will pay a total of $30,000.
This transaction was announced in the Company's press release dated
February 24, 2010.
