TSX Venture Exchange Inc. (the "Exchange") has accepted for filing an option agreement between Altair Ventures Incorporated (the "Company") and Sultan Minerals Inc. ("Sultan") dated December 30, 2011 (the "Option Agreement") pursuant to which the Company will have the option (the "Option") to acquire a 75% interest in the Kena Property located in British Columbia.

In order to exercise the Option the Company must:

  1. make staged cash payments in the aggregate amount of $2,000,000 within 48 months of the date of the Option Agreement;

  2. issue 2,666,666 common shares in tranches within 48 months of the date of the Option Agreement; and

  3. incur an aggregate of $7,500,000 in exploration expenditures on the Kena Property with 48 months of the date of the Option Agreement.

In addition, the Company will pay Sultan a one-time bonus of $2,000,000 bonus (the "Bonus"), in cash or shares at the Company's option, if a pre-defined reserve or resource target is met, being total measured and indicated resource exceeding 2,000,000 ounces of gold (at a 0.3 g/t cut-off).

The Company will pay a finder's fee of $128,833.50 and 185,857 common shares to Zahir Dhanani (the "Finder") such payments to be staged over 48 months from the date of the Option Agreement.  In addition, the Company will pay the Finder an amount equal to 5% of the Bonus, if paid.
