As of March 9, 2012, the Company is subject to restrictions on share issuances and certain types of payments as set out in the NEX policies.

The trading symbol for the Company will change from MEO to MEO.H.  There is no change in the Company's name, no change in its CUSIP number and no consolidation of capital.  The symbol extension differentiates NEX symbols from Tier 1 or Tier 2 symbols within the TSX Venture market.

Property-Asset or Share Disposition Agreement

The Exchange has accepted for filing the documentation relating to the disposition by NSGold Corporation ("NSGold") of all NSGold's shares of Compania Minera Oso Blanco SA de CV, a Mexican subsidiary of NSGold and $4,665,000 cash to another wholly-owned subsidiary, NSX Silver Inc. ("NSX Silver"), in consideration of 45,400,000 common shares of NSX Silver, at a deemed issue price of $0.105 per share, in connection with the spin-off of NSX Silver.

NSGold will distribute approximately 43.4 million common shares of NSX Silver to the shareholders of NSGold on the distribution record date, on the basis of one common share of NSX Silver for every common share of NSGold held. After the distribution, NSGold will hold approximately 2,015,000 common shares of NSX Silver.
