TSB deploying a team of investigators to a marine accident in Tofino, British Columbia

RICHMOND, BC, Oct. 25, 2015 /CNW/ - The Transportation Safety Board of Canada (TSB) will be deploying a team of investigators to Tofino, British Columbia to investigate the sinking of the whale watching vessel Leviathan II. The TSB will assess the occurrence.

The TSB is an independent agency that advances transportation safety by investigating occurrences in the marine, pipeline, rail and air modes of transportation. It is not the function of the Board to assign fault or determine civil or criminal liability.
