Trinasolar commits to gender equality and women's empowerment by adopting UN Women's Empowerment Principles

CHANGZHOU, China, Dec. 23, 2024 /CNW/ -- Trinasolar has signed the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles, reaffirming its commitment to advancing global gender equality and empowering women.

Designed to guide companies in empowering women in the workplace, marketplace and the community generally, the principles are the result of collaboration between UN Women and UNGC. As a global signatory of the WEPs, Trinasolar integrates the UN SDGs into its corporate strategy and operations.

To continually improve internal policies and practices, Trinasolar strictly complies with laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where it operates and aligns policies with international human rights conventions and labor standards, such as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
