TriAct Canada charity day event will donate 100% of MATCH Now marketplace trading fees to Right To Play
TORONTO, Nov. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - On November 21, 2013, TriAct Canada Marketplace LP will donate all trading fees from its MATCH Now marketplace to support Right To Play. This marks the first time a Canadian marketplace has donated all of its daily trading fees to charity.
"We believe that sport and play is an important part of every child's development and the funds raised by this special day will help Right To Play continue empowering youth," said Torstein Braaten, CEO, TriAct Canada Marketplace LP. "More and more investors are using MATCH Now to execute trades in a fully confidential manner and we're hoping to have a big day on the 21st for Right To Play."
"We are very fortunate to have the support of organizations such as TriAct Canada Marketplace LP," said Kevin Taylor, Vice President, Philanthropy, Right To Play. "It is through fundraisers and the generosity of the community that we are able to continue our work with youth."
Clients who route orders to MATCH Now on November 21 will automatically contribute to the fundraiser, while capturing price improvement by trading at the mid-point of the bid/ask spread.
MATCH Now is the first Canadian marketplace to offer price-improved execution for both institutional and retail order flow, in one place. MATCH Now connects broker-dealers and their clients to a diverse liquidity pool within a confidential, broker-neutral marketplace.
