Travelzoo Invites Five Canadians with Lucky Names to Win a Trip of a Lifetime
TORONTO, Jan. 12, 2015 /CNW/ - Do you have a lucky name? If you have one of the five lucky names selected by Travelzoo Inc. (NASDAQ: TZOO), you can win a trip to Cuba for two.
Inspired by the recent Elizabeth Gallagher story, about a woman given around-the-world plane tickets because of her name, Travelzoo today announced a new contest where Canadians with the right name can enter for a chance to win one of five vacations to Cuba for themselves and a travel companion.
The five lucky names for the Travelzoo contest are:
1. Jonathan Li
2. Michael Smith
3. Jennifer Clark
4. Elizabeth Martin
5. Victoria Brown
"We're always looking for ways to inspire our members to travel, and it's hard to beat a trip to one of Canada's favourite international destinations," said Jason Sarracini, vice president and general manager for Travelzoo Canada. "Even if you don't have a lucky name, chances are, you know someone who does."
Any eligible Canadian with a valid passport and matching name can enter the competition by submitting a short description about why they deserve a vacation in 2015. Contest ends on January 31 and the five winners will be announced early February.
