To remove the guesswork for these time-strapped shoppers, Babies"R"Us, Canada has also released its Top Baby Gift List, featuring 20 must-have items for little ones.

Before making its list and checking it twice, Toys"R"Us also ensures that each toy passes the "kid test" by enlisting the expertise of 12-year-old Chief Play Officer of Toys"R"Us, Canada, Alex Thorne.
"My job as the CPO is to help parents find the best toys for their kids. I play with and review the toys, and think about what is cool about each one on the list," said Alex. "I've given each toy on this list my stamp of approval, and there are some that will also be on my personal holiday list this year, including Skylanders Trap Team and the LEGO Star Wars AT-AT. I know kids across Canada will be as excited about the toys on this list as I am."
