Toronto dancers kick off special summer production in Dubai
TORONTO, June 7, 2013 /CNW/ - Eight Toronto dancers will amaze audiences from June 7-July 8 at Dubai Summer Surprises (largest summer event in the region) with contemporary jazz/hip-hop performances produced by the entertainment experts at CMart Worldwide.
A global entertainment agency based in Europe and now Toronto, in total CMart Worldwide is offering 130 local performers the chance to work in Dubai this summer.
"It's an amazing and rare opportunity unless you're working long term contracts," said Brittany Hutton, dance captain of the crew heading to Dubai for five weeks. "You can find work on cruise ships if you like to travel/dance, but not usually with a production company."
"We audition and produce our shows here in Toronto so we can ensure the quality and innovation of every production before exporting it overseas," explains Lukas Cabalka, Director of Live Entertainment.
Most importantly the company is exporting the best talent they can find from Toronto. "We've worked with artists from all over Europe, but want to work with Canadian talent now, because they are great dancers," said Cabalka.
