Former member of parliament was one of the founding members of the Toronto Centre Board
TORONTO, May 24, 2016 /CNW/ - Toronto Centre is proud to welcome Barry Campbell to its Board of Directors effective May 20, 2016. Mr. Campbell was a founding member of the Toronto Centre Board, having been appointed by then-Finance Minister Paul Martin in 1998 and serving until 2000. Mr. Campbell brings with him decades of experience in law, international banking, and public affairs.

Mr. Campbell is the Founder and President of Campbell Strategies, one of the leading public affairs organizations in Canada. He has provided counsel in several policy areas including financial services regulation, taxation, and mergers and acquisitions. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1993 to 1997, where he served as Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Finance, later Prime Minister, The Right Honourable Paul Martin. Mr. Campbell has served at the IMF and practised law with leading law firms in Toronto and Washington DC.
