Top leasing brokers Joe Muldoon and Chris Lange join Avison Young in Philadelphia
Landlord and tenant representation specialists become Principals, will continue to work as a team while growing Center City office market
PHILADELPHIA, March 12, 2014 /CNW/ - David Fahey, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the company's Philadelphia office, announced today that highly regarded commercial real estate industry brokers Joe Muldoon and Chris Lange have joined Avison Young in Philadelphia.
Effective immediately, Muldoon and Lange become Principals. They will continue to specialize in landlord and tenant representation while working as a team in the Center City office market. Muldoon and Lange were most recently Senior Vice-President and Vice-President, respectively, at real estate firm Binswanger in Philadelphia.

Their deep industry experience and sound reputation will significantly help us expand our platform in the Center City market," comments Fahey. Avison Young opened its Philadelphia office in September 2013. Over the past five years, the company has grown from 11 to 54 offices and from 300 to more than 1,500 real estate professionals across Canada and the U.S.

Biographies
Joe Muldoon
Joe Muldoon brings 31 years of commercial real estate experience to Avison Young. Prior to joining Avison Young, he was a Senior Vice-President for 11 years at Binswanger, where he focused on the Center City office market and worked to meet landlord and corporate client requirements. Muldoon's experience includes the sale and leasing of office, flex and industrial space, as well as landlord and tenant representation within the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. At Avison Young, he will focus on growing the firm's Center City presence.
Muldoon is a William Penn Charter School graduate and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in economics from St. Lawrence University. He also serves on the Board of the United Way of Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
Chris Lange
Chris Lange brings to Avison Young eight years of commercial real estate industry experience. Prior to joining Avison Young, he was a Vice-President at Binswanger for four years. He began his real estate career as a transactions associate and leasing agent at O'Neill Properties Group in King of Prussia, PA. During his career, Lange has been involved in high-profile transactions with such prestigious clients as Beneficial Bank, Sunoco, the Philadelphia School District, and the Please Touch Museum.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Lange holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
