Place a sterilized bottle on the unit, a hot shot of water is released into the bottle at a high temperature which eliminates any bacteria in the formula and bottle. Mom then adds the correct amount of formula, covers the bottle and swirls the formula and hot shot for a rapid dissolve process. Mom replaces the bottle under the appliance and the remainder of the water is delivered and calibrated to provide a bottle with a temperature of 98 degrees F, the perfect temperature for a baby to feed.
