TORONTO, Dec. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - TMX Group today announced its financing activity on Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange for November 2013.
Toronto Stock Exchange welcomed 7 new issuers in November 2013, down from 13 the previous month and down from 20 in November 2012. The new listings include 2 oil & gas companies, 1 technology company, 1 clean technology company, 1 structured product, 1 mining company and 1 real estate company. Total financings raised in November 2013 increased 74% from October 2013, and increased 55% year-over-year. In November 2013, the total number of financings was 62, which is down from 78 the previous month and down from 71 in November 2012.
TSX Venture Exchange listed 3 new issuers in November 2013, which is down from 7 the previous month and down from 9 in November 2012. The new listings include 1 from the Capital Pool Company program, 1 real estate company and 1 mining company. In November 2013, total financings raised decreased 67% from October 2013, and decreased 40% from November 2012. There were 114 financings in November 2013, compared to 160 in October 2013 and 153 in November 2012.
