EAST ANGUS, QC, Oct. 15, 2014 /CNW Telbec/ - Marc-André Skelling, a 23 years old young man needs a stem cell donor in order to save his life. Marc-André has been diagnosed with Hodgkin disease, a type of lymphoma, which is a cancer originating from white blood cells called lymphocytes.
Since some of Marc-André's ancestors were from the UK, he needs a compatible stem cell donor who must be :
- born (or has an ancestor born) in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland)
- aged between 18 and 35;
