TORONTO, Dec. 20, 2014 /CNW/ - Humber River Hospital Foundation is proud to announce six major gifts from Canada's financial institutions towards its $225 million capital campaign to build and equip the new Humber River Hospital - North America's first fully digital hospital opening on October 18, 2015.
The financial institutions are:
BMO Financial Group
Italian Canadian Savings & Credit Union (IC Savings)
TD Bank Group
Each one of these organizations has made a very healthy investment to help change the course of patient care history in Canada. Their generous gifts, totaling $5.35 million will go a long way towards allowing us to achieve our $225 million fundraising goal. It will also enable our staff and physicians to provide their patients with expert, respectful and compassionate care in North America's first fully digital hospital.
We're opening the doors to the new Humber River Hospital on October 18, 2015 thanks in part to the generosity of these six Canadian financial institutions.
