The results of the study were revealed yesterday during Toronto's annual Advertising and Marketing Week. This is the third consecutive year The Weather Network has made the list and been ranked within the top 20 brands. According to the study, Canadians see The Weather Network as trustworthy, engaging and a good corporate citizen. Among Canadian brands, The Weather Network placed 4th this year.

The Most Influential Brands Study was conducted in December via an online survey of over 5,000 Canadian residents. Respondents were asked questions related to five key dimensions which define and determine brand influence, including trustworthiness, engagement, leading edge, presence and corporate citizenship. The highest ranked brands are those which excel at building influence and driving preference in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
