The University of Liverpool Offers New Online IT Master's Programmes

LIVERPOOL, England, March 2, 2017 /CNW/ -- The University of Liverpool is offering three new, fully online IT master's programmes to meet the demands placed on organisations by rapid changes in technology. The MSc in Big Data Analytics, MSc in Cyber Security and the redesigned MSc in Information Systems Management offer working professionals the opportunity to develop sought-after skills in strategically significant IT specialisms to enhance their career development potential.

• MSc in Big Data Analytics, designed to provide working professionals with the skills to capitalise on the potential use of big data and analytics to transform business decision-making and planning. The programme investigates how to use big data by leveraging the appropriate tools and techniques, while also examining the underlying technology and concepts. Students will have the opportunity to gain the skills needed to develop and deploy strategies to utilise big data in a business environment, with an understanding of the challenges involved.
• MSc in Cyber Security, providing students with the opportunity to gain a comprehensive and critical understanding of the theory and techniques of contemporary cyber security and how to apply these in response to real-world business problems. • MSc in Information Systems Management, designed to give students the skills and knowledge to drive growth, innovation and change within organisations by leveraging the power of technology. Focusing on innovation management and leadership in information systems management, this programme aims to provide a deeper understanding of how technology enables business and how successful businesses are driven by technology.
