Fourth annual Sugar Shack TO dates announced
TORONTO, Dec. 17, 2018 /CNW/ - On National Maple Syrup Day, Sugar Shack TO, presented by Redpath is pleased to announce its return to Toronto's waterfront, March 9 and 10, 2019. On the first weekend of March Break, Sugar Shack TO will sweeten up the city's winter blues with sugar shacks serving up fresh maple taffy, interactive ice activities, winter marketplace, specialty bar, live music and much more! New to the urban cabane à sucre event in 2019 will be a maple-themed obstacle course, Maple Rush. This year due to the construction at Sugar Beach, the event will take place next door at Sherbourne Common.
A landmark on Toronto's waterfront, Redpath Sugar has signed on as presenting partner of the event for a second year.
"By the time March rolls around, we can all use a dose of sweetness and that's what this event brings to Toronto," says Nancy Gavin, Manager of Brand Development at Redpath. "It's free, it's family-friendly and it shows the community something that we at Redpath have known since the late 1950's – that Toronto's waterfront is a beautiful place to be all year round."
Saturday, March 9, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
